Interview
I went through three interviews with Hour Media, meeting two managers and the person who previously held the role. I was even given a full tour of the office, which made it seem like I was seriously being considered.
After all that, I was told they went with another candidate because they wanted someone with “more experience in email marketing campaigns.” That reasoning didn’t make much sense to me since I already have years of email marketing experience — and honestly, any good company should be willing to train and help employees grow.
Overall, the process felt like I was being strung along just to be rejected. Everyone I spoke with was polite, but the lack of transparency and follow-through left me feeling pretty disappointed.

Interview
The first round was very generic questions about experience and background. The hiring team communicated effectively, ultimately letting you know if you made it to the next round or not.

They are not transparent about how much the roles pay online because they don’t pay well AT ALL. I have a bachelors degree from one of the best schools and a few years of professional experience related to this position and they offered 45K salary… 25K below what I am already making at my current role. You would make more working full time at McDonald’s. I felt offended they wasted my time to even come in for the interview.
