I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Housecall Pro (Guadalajara, Jalisco) in Apr 2022
Interview
The first screening interview with HR was great and very easy, they just want to know if you can continue with the process, so be ready to talk about your experience here.
Then there were 5 interviews with the product team. First with the Design Manager, then the Design Director, after that with a Product Manager, then with the Design Manager and a couple of Product Designer Senior, and if you pass well all of those, you will have the last call to talk about an offer.
Something great was I had direct communication with the HR partner across all those interviews and she gave me feedback after each one.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
During the interviews with the managers, they wanted to know about my experience, what I want to achieve in the company, and why I decided to move from my past job.
And finally, when I had the interview with 3 people at once (Manager, and two Senior Product Designers) they asked things about what is my design process, and what I do in certain scenarios, and they asked me to show my portfolio, and I presented a couple of case studies.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Housecall Pro in Jan 2026
Interview
About a 1 month process. Phone screening, hiring manager conversation, portfolio presentation, and culture interviews. I found their hiring team to be extremely helpful and supportive in preparing me throughout the process, and similarly felt like the people I spoke with were interested in helping me along the process rather than throwing curveballs or gotchas.
