Interview was with the district manager, who spent the majority of the interview describing how he excelled in the role I was applying for at his previous institution. I thought it was very interesting how every example that he gave was about the former institution and not the one that he was currently working for. He was condescending during the interview, dismissing my previous management experience, because as it wasn't in banking, and correcting my answers, telling me how he would have handled the situation, again at his previous institution. I was also made very uncomfortable when he spent about 5 minutes describing the failures of the past management team, for what reason I am not sure. I was expecting him to ask me a 'how would you have handled this situation' question, but it never came. Near the end of the interview, when I was finally allowed to answer without interruption I apparently surprised him with my answers and was given the very backhanded compliment of, 'wow, I guess you are more impressive then you appear.'
