I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Huntington Learning Centers (Lagrange Hlds, IL) in Mar 2012
Interview
It takes a couple weeks for them to get back to you about your resume. At the interview, business casual is all that is necessary. The interviewing questions are not terribly difficult. I previously interviewed for full time high school teaching positions, and the questions at Huntington were a cake walk compared to them. After the interview, they have you take an ACT test and submit your information for a background check.

Question 1
It actually wasn't a question at all, the most difficult part of the interview was taking parts of the ACT. Totally unexpected.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Huntington Learning Centers (Manhasset, NY) in Apr 2021
Interview
Friendly, conversational, informative. I was told my position's duties and what would be expected of me if I'm offered the job.
My interviewer was fortunately down-to-earth, which I was grateful for. Most of my interview, specifically, was about the job and the grade-level I would be teaching. I was informed about training, shadowing, "reverse-shadowing" (AKA student-teaching), and pay. My interviewer wanted to know my availability. She also explained the culture of the branch, and her professional history while working there, which I found pleasant.
Since I don't have prior teaching experience, and I was applying for the job to gain it, I mentioned my research background and professional industry experience, and made sure to connecting those components of my professional history to what my interviewer was sharing with me regarding my position's responsibilities.

Question 1
Though I wasn't asked that many questions pertaining to my potential as an actual candidate during the interview itself, I was asked certain questions during the phone-screening component two days prior to the interview.
The one question that seemed to be quite important, and the one that was asked twice, in two different ways, during my phone-screening session were: "How would you inspire student-engagement if the student is uninterested in learning (the material)?"
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Huntington Learning Centers (New York, NY) in Oct 2016
Interview
I applied via an ad on Craigslist. I was called the same day. Had a brief phone interview. Went in for training the next day. The interviewer is the same person doing the hiring.

Question 1
Have you tutored or taught before? What level of math are you comfortable with? Any subject matter expertise?
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Huntington Learning Centers (Cranberry Township, PA) in Jan 2016
Interview
Applied online and was called in to do an interview a few days later. Arrived at the office, filled out a job application, and interviewed with the assistant director. Even though I had lots of prior experience tutoring, the $11/hr pay rate was not negotiable. Shifts were only 2-4 hours long, so it wasn't worth it.

Question 1
What specific strategies have you used to help students with ADHD?
