I had a Covid interview that was very thorough. We went over the details of the position and mining with the mission and discussing some technical aspects still in the interview process and will update my findings when done.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at ICON (Austin, TX) in Jun 2025
Interview
2 phone calls and then invited on site for interview.
They did not/would not pay for my travel to attend the interview, I came out of my pocket for the hotel, transportation, etc.
Was asked basic questions about my resume by different people. Seemed more like a personality test than a skills interview. Free beer and pizza for lunch with the team though. People seemed kind enough but you do get a bit of a boys club vibe. Seems very unlikely they would hire someone asking for the top range of their hiring budget for the role.

Two interviewers attended and just one round. Basically the interviews asked the questions from CV, they focused on every study I listed and investigated the experience I had in the past work experience.
