After I made my application, a recruiter reached out and asked for some general questions (background, interests etc), then she said the next step would be completing an assessment. After two days later, another recruiter reached to me and ask they'd like to give me a week to practice PHP before I took the assessment because I had mentioned that I didn't have any PHP experience before. However, they silenced about 2 weeks and then reached me again and provided the assessment a week later.
They give you 3 days to complete the assessment. It was about implementing a web server. The assessment was interesting, but I felt it required too much work from a candidate.
After I completed the assessment, I was interviewed by the VP of Engineering and a Product Manager. It was a combination of technical and behaviour questions, the questions were not hard and I enjoyed the conversation.
I recevied an offer in the next day after the interview. I declined the offer because of a personal decision and also the glassdoor reviews made me worried about the OTs.
Overall, the hiring process was positive to me but I think there were a few places that could be improved.
