After submitting my resume, I was contacted almost immediately for what I was told would be a 15-minute long final interview at the Iconic offices. They were marked on the building directory with a stickie note telling me to go down to the basement. The front desk employee asked me some questions about my resume, and I responded with some questions about Iconic's clients. She said that they worked with Verizon and AT&T and were hoping to reach out to Amazon someday. In the interview, the company President included Amazon and Apple among Iconic's clients. When asked about his experience consulting with Amazon, he responded using the conditional "Iconic would do x" and "we would work with them in x way". When asked about his experience consulting with Apple, he said that they sell iPhones through AT&T. This company seems to be targeting folks who are desperate for work with promises of enormous commissions, bonuses, and opportunities for merit-based promotions.
