This company called me a day a day after I applied my resume to careerbuilder and I got a call from the hiring manager. To my surprise, I was caught off guard because I was not expecting to receive calls so quickly. Crystal (The Hiring Manager) was very polite and told me that she received my application that I submitted for an Assistant Manager position (which I didn't); I played along. She said she found my resume suitable to the position and would like to setup an interview. I was very confused because she didn't explain the basics; job outlook, job expectations, etc... So I had to ask.
Q:What kinds of tasks would I be expected to perform day-to-day?
A: Linda (The Interviewer) would answer that when you come in to the interview
Q: What type of salary/hourly pay would I be expecting?
A $35,000-45,0000
Q: What type of team would I be "managing"?
A: You would pick your own group and you would be selling make up products.
She kept pushing for an interview but I denied telling her I would like more information about the position. I then asked to have a job description emailed to me and ask to call back later (I never did). The following day, another member of the team calls me and tells me the hiring manager was very impressed with me and would love for me to come in for an interview; this time I did. I instantly got a confirmation email with date, time, and location.
I looked up the company's website and to my surprise it looked pretty good, however, it didn't provide any information about the company or what they do. It only had a bunch of photos of young adults that seemed they were all doing well. I then researched and found all the reviews about how it's all a scam. I will be emailing them and cancelling the appointment.
