I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Ignitium (Spokane, WA) in Oct 2022
Interview
Process included four rounds over 4 weeks; a phone screen, an in-person interview, a personality / IQ assessment and lunch with the engineering team.
Throughout the process "culture fit" was primarily stressed with a slew of situational and hypothetical questions meant to get a sense for candidate thought process. Almost no technical questions were posed.
The engineering team is inexperienced here, they lack process and leadership within the organization. It was mentioned several times that many of the engineering decisions and direction comes top down from the CEO.
After meeting the team and seeing the office realized that this company prioritizes new graduates and younger candidates with little to no real world engineering experience.

Question 1
Describe a situation where you disagreed with your coworkers/management.
The interview process consisted of one phone call to cover general questions, a profile assessment, and an in-person interview. This was a pretty standard interview process and no question seemed strange or irrelevant.

Question 1
What experience do you have related to this position?
I applied through university. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Ignitium (Spokane, WA) in Jun 2021
Interview
Phone interview was pleasant conversation reviewing resume. Proceeded to a one hour test that involved SAT style math, analogies, and a personality test. Was presented with an offer from the CEO that was vague; it did not detail benefits. I asked for more information regarding 401k, medical, and some of the wording in the offer letter; I promptly replied to this offer as it "expired" in short time, no response. I sent a follow up email two days later (the day of offer "expiration"). No response. I called, only to be told by that they were busy and would get around to it (now going on more than 4 days since my initial email response to the offer). It's obvious that they don't value my time and/or are very disorganized. They seemed like nice people that came on high recommendation, but unfortunately they seem to work you into the ground. From my interactions, they don't seem to respect peoples' time or efforts, so this has some pretty big red flags of a potentially bad workplace.

Thank you for your feedback! We apologize for not responding to you in a timely manner during the interview process. After the job offer was provided, we were tied up in some urgent projects. Since we spoke, 9 more people were hired to help with reducing the workload for everyone as well as making sure experiences like yours do not happen again. We are in the process of hiring 10 more people this quarter and will utilize your feedback on having more details within the job offer as well as making sure we respond within 1-2 days vs 4 days like we unfortunately did with you. Quite a few of your peers in the MBA program joined Ignitium and it would have been great having you on the team as well.
