I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Impact Food Group in Nov 2025
Interview
Really frustrating interview process from start to finish. I had to chase them at every turn.
For my initial teams interview, the interviewer was nearly half an hour late to the meeting and said they must have missed the teams notification.
For my in person interview, I got to the office only to be told they'd given me the wrong time and asked me to come back three hours later.
I had two promises of a phone call in the week that followed and no one got in touch, which seems to be the norm for them.
I sent an email chasing and the second time got me a response. I hadn't gotten the role, which is fine, however they refused to share feedback unless over the phone despite me stating that due to my current role, I was unavailable to speak that day. Zero contact since then.
Given the red flags around how they communicate, I'm treating it as a blessing that an offer wasn't put forward.
Oh and they don't hold any stock whatsoever in Glassdoor reviews. I actually brought up during my interview how negative the comments were on here and rather than being concerned or wanting to tackle it, the attitude was that this is just a platform where people come to moan.
They claim to have a good ethos but make of that what you will.

Question 1
I had to prepare a 30 minute presentation on what I would do with the role and then questions were asked throughout.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re very sorry to hear that the interview process didn’t run smoothly and that you experienced delays and communication issues — this isn’t the standard we aim to provide to candidates.
We know how much time and effort goes into preparing for interviews, particularly presentations, and we appreciate the time you invested in the process. Your feedback on communication and scheduling has been shared with the team so we can improve the experience for future candidates.
We also value feedback on platforms like Indeed and Glassdoor, as it helps us reflect and improve. We wish you all the best in your future role.

Interview
Good interview. Interviewer provided information about the company and asked relevant questions. Very honest conversation. We both got a good understanding of what was needed and why. By the end I appreciated that the role would not be suitable but it was a exciting opportunity for someone who could travel more.
