I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Improbable (Washington, DC) in Mar 2022
Interview
Several hour-long interviews exploring many facets of software engineering. This included a coding question, a software architecture exercise, and a few behavioral interviews that explored how I managed various situations.

Question 1
Tell us about a time when you helped someone on your team.
Very strange process.
First call was with a talent partner.
Second call was with a designer.
Designer spoke about what they've worked on and clients, then asked 4 questions regarding react and typescript.
I'm guessing they base your technical ability of these 4 questions.
My suggestion would be to rethink your hiring process, one of the strangest I've seen.

Question 1
What does unknown mean in Typescript.
What does any mean in Typescript.
Normal technical interview with hackerrank style questions. Also some behavioral questions. Relatively in depth process with three extended technical questions. Very friendly and helpful staff to help through process and in interviews.
The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Improbable (London, England) in Oct 2022
Interview
Several remote interviews via video call, some more focused on technology and some more focused on people fit and culture. I met my Engineering Manager, an engineer from within the team and the COO as well as some initial sifting from the recruitment team.
