I participated in two interviews with Imubit during May 2025. The first was a brief introductory conversation, while the second was a technical on-site interview.
During the technical interview, I met with two individuals: the DevOps Team Lead and a junior DevOps engineer. It was immediately apparent that the junior team member lacked practical experience in DevOps and Kubernetes infrastructure. Additionally, much of the discussion centered around questions related to my previous company's infrastructure, rather than assessing my technical abilities or suitability for the role.
The Team Lead appeared more interested in extracting information about my former employer’s architecture and migration processes than conducting a focused technical evaluation. This gave the impression that the session was more of a consultation than a legitimate interview. Basic Kubernetes concepts, such as deployment types and inter-pod communication, seemed unfamiliar to them, raising concerns about the technical maturity of the team.
Ultimately, I was rejected without receiving any feedback regarding my performance or fit for the role.
Conclusion:
Based on my experience, I would not recommend interviewing with Imubit. The process felt unprofessional and appeared more geared toward gathering insights for internal use rather than genuinely evaluating a potential hire.
