I applied in-person. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at In-N-Out Burger (Phoenix, AZ) in Apr 2014
Interview
Very easy interview. I met with the store manager outside, she asked me a few questions and I was hired on the spot. Very relaxed which was nice since this was my first job.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at In-N-Out Burger (El Segundo, CA) in Nov 2015
Interview
I was applying for a location that wasn't open yet at the time when they were holding interviews, the location I requested at was just a few miles away. The interviews were held outdoors in groups, at the time they were hiring many employees at once. The first interview was in groups about 3-4 applicants were allowed to be interviewed by one manager. I brought my resume but they did not ask or need it. Asking typical questions allowing each person to respond with their answer. After the process they pick one out of group of 3-4 and call them for a second interview. The 2nd interview is more one on one with the hiring manager asking more personal questions about availability and such. Once the 2nd interview is finished, they usually tell you that you will be called by the day after the interview. If not, most likely you did not get the job.
