Lovely video chat. Almost an hour long. They said they were comming back in two weeks, but ghosted completely. Not even to say sorry, you have not been selected. I found later through LinkedIn they had already hired someone, but shortlisted at least they deserve to know if they go to the next round dont you think?

Three interviews were conducted. They were relatively informal and seemed designed to assess fit, understanding of role and the organisation, skills and expertise, and creativity and innovation in approach. The interviewers were friendly and curious about previous work.

I was interviewed by a staff member and we spoke for about an hour. The questions mainly centered on my resume, relevant past experience, and interest in refugee research (the position focused on refugee and asylum policies). I was also given a sample case study to gauge how I would respond to a specific situation.
