Interview
Very positive interview experience. Friendly, comfortable, gained a lot of insight into the role. There was an initial phone call with hiring manager followed by an onsite interview with 5 members of the team. I was given an offer but ultimately it revoked due to the pandemic
Very competitive. It was a string section position. There's around 100 in the prelim round and the prelim lasted for 2 days. The semi-final and final round were all held on the same day.

Interview
I applied on the Indianapolis Symphony website for the position and within about 2 weeks I received a request to come into the office for an interview. Within a few hours, they sent an offer. Although I was not looking for an unpaid internship, I felt positive about the company atmosphere and mission, and I accepted the position.
