      Application

I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Indigo (Memphis, TN) in Mar 2019

      Interview

Very thorough Interview process and felt the onboarding was pretty smooth. Great opportunity and felt that the overall experience was good for me. Definitely not like any other company that I have worked for in the past.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Indigo (Saint Louis, MO) in Sept 2018

      Interview

The interview process was timely to say the least. I first met my hiring manager at an agricultural exposition. After introducing myself, I rattled through some questions I had about the company and how their offerings benefit growers in order to learn more about the opportunities at Indigo. We then discussed available Agronomist positions with Indigo and he left we with his card to send in my resume. I sent my resume directly to him and submitted it through the online portal. Within two days, I was contacted by an Indigo Recruiter and asked a few general personality questions followed by a request to participate in in-person interviews 4 days later. The in-person interview was conducted over a period of 3 hours with five one-on-one interviews. I was asked to put together a presentation of the Indigo offer from what I could glean from the company web page and describe the benefits Indigo brings to growers. The presentation was my first one-on-one and it was followed by four additional one-on-one rounds with the a recruiter, business unit lead, an agronomist, and channel marketing. All interviews went smoothly and the passion each interviewer had for working with Indigo was very evident.

      Question 1

What are the three pillars of the Indigo mission and how would you communicate them to the grower.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Indigo (Memphis, TN) in Jan 2018

      Interview

The first interview was a video interview, where I was presented a question and had a few minutes to answer, the entire answer was recorded by my computer. There was an option to redo the answer on once per question. After the second attempt, that was the final answer. The “Batch Interview” was the best interview I have ever been through. I met with 3 interviewers independent of each other. First, was one hour long. The second and third, were 30 minutes long. Then, the last portion was a presentation to two of the interviewers on a PowerPoint that Indigo sent to me. I had to research the talking points in the PowerPoint and had 15 minutes to make the presentation. There were four candidates, each in a different room, the interviewers came to each candidate. I felt comfortable, because they “were in my room!”
