I applied online. I interviewed at Inductive Automation (Folsom, CA)
Interview
Phone screen by recruiter. Basic interview questions. My interviewer/recruiter was two hours late. I'm not sure if I caught him on a bad day, but he was very curt and rude. I was just looking for a job after college and he questioned whether I wanted to be a programmer (even though I applied to a programming position) because I did not have a lot of experience (for a junior position). I think programming can just be a job, but the recruiter thought otherwise. The recruiter picked his words very carefully in order to sound professional even though his thinly veiled passive aggression could be felt over the phone. The interview was simply a very unprofessional personal attack on a newly minted grad.

Question 1
They ask that you take a look at their company website and try out their 'Ignition' software. I can not remember if I was given a special access code for their software, but I think the recruiter might have mentioned it. Basic technical questions on data structures (stacks, queues, linked lists)—nothing complex. Questions about SQL and NoSQL. Your experience with Java. Personal projects.
