Interview
My initial interviewer was kind, down to earth and respectful. When she called the owner Joe in he was very cold and tried to question my resume. I proved him wrong really fast. He asked me the name of someone I worked for and then called another employee to check to see if i was lying. Literally right in front of me. I should have taken that red flag and ran right there. So disrespectful. That is something you do post interview. He made a fool of himself and his company. After saying they wanted to hire me he asked how much I make . I had currently made over 6 figures and immediately insulted me by offering me 20K less. This is how they treat their employees. Sorry but hiring talented artists is an investment. Treat it as such.
Our interviews are always pleasant, and offers are made based on both the job that is available at the time, as well as experience. Nobody has any recollection of anyone leaving insulted, however some positions pay more and some pay less. If the position that was open has less responsibility and pays less, then experience might increase the payscale somewhat, but it's still going to be a lower paying position.
