I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Innovative Language Learning - Japan
Interview
The interview was great. I told them my story, they were very attentive, they shared what their creative process entailed, and I was more than happy to come aboard the team.
I applied online. I interviewed at Innovative Language Learning - Japan (New York, NY) in May 2012
Interview
Was asked to come in person, interviewer was not really friendly. Interviewer seemed busy or not interested. Was not the most comfortable interview. Before the face to face interview, I was asked to complete a skills test and submitted the test through email. The skills test was easy.

Question 1
If you could choose between completing a project quickly with many errors or completing a project slowly without errors, which would do you?
I applied through other source. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Innovative Language Learning - Japan in Aug 2009
Interview
First response I received was a template e-mail with a "task sheet." They asked me to write about language, the culture, and a grammar explanation. It was pretty straight forward , but they said they picked mine because I was very detail oriented.
Next was a phone interview that I had. It was a pleasant talk. There were more difficult questions in there, but the guy was nice.
After that was a brief in person interview. The man was very nice, but I felt a little weird being in a suit, while he had jeans on. But he was a pleasant young man.
The worst part was the waiting. I was waiting for weeks without any response. Even when I e-mailed back to thank them for the interview, the reply was tardy and very evasive. So it felt like I invested a lot of my time to get to the interview point, and after that, there was nothing.
