I received a phone interview to discuss my resume and goals from the IT Manager who was in another state. I then received a call about a face to face interview at the actual office I was going to be working in. This included the Office Manager, Policy Services Supervisor and the only other member of the IT team in this office. IT personnel have to work with and around all other types of employees, so I thought this was a very smart decision on their part, that most companies don't think about. I would say most IT people are a different type of person, this gave them the opportunity to know who would be around their employees and helping them, and not just have a new employee show up one day and the IT Manager send out an email saying "Here's your new employee."
