Recruitment agency contacted me about the position. Despite not having the years of experience he said they'd still be open to potentially interviewing me. I went through application process, filled out form online which requires you to leave out all personal information. The next stage after this is a review and decision as to whether they will call you in for a F2F interview. F2F interview was a 3 person panel interview who took it in turns to ask some competancy based questions. I was informed approximately a week later that I was unsuccessful as I didn't demonstrate enough stakeholder communication skills and how I worked on solutions. Fair decision and I accept it. However the lack of information regarding the interview setup meant I wasn't fully prepared. I was also disappointed that at no point did they ask any questions about me personally. How can you hire a person without knowing what type of chartacter they are (sociable, friendly, humurous etc). They also didn't ask any questions like what motivates you and what challenges do you want to take on in life etc. I had made my mind up after the interview that both me and the Insolvency Service aren't compatible. Good luck to them and the successful candidate. Sometimes it's not meant to be. Onwards and upwards.
