It was simple interview, with two managers and one QA Lead. They asked more about education and previous work experience background. It was more descriptive than technical questions. It was a pleasant experience overall.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Types of testing done, API testing, regression testing
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Insperity (Houston, TX) in Jun 2019
Interview
Applied online on a job posting. HR called and took my semi-technical interview right away over the phone. Then based on my answers, which I suppose I passed, my resume was sent to the hiring manager. 3 days later had technical phone interview with the hiring Manager. I really enjoyed both HR and Technical interviews. The hiring manager was easy going and made me feel comfortable and relax by starting with how my day was going. She is a nice lady and knowledgeable as well.
Still waiting to hear from the HR.
My suggestion - Be prepared with SDLC and analytic mind for scenarios that will be presented to you in interview. Good Luck!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
First interview was semi-technical by the HR. Questions asked were:
1. Difference between Functional and Non-Functional testing
2. Scenario - What would I do in case there is a deadline to finish the work, but there's a lot of work pending.
3. What do you know about Performance Testing?
It was a walk-thru of my resume. Explain what you do currently and questions based on my current work. The last question was a scenario based question.
Scenario - Your company gives out gift cards as hard copies. Your company decides to give out e-gift cards. What will you do in that case? What will be your steps of testing this scenario?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Insperity (Kingwood, TX) in Mar 2014
Interview
First the HR phone interview, next phone interview with Hiring Manager and then 2 onsite interviews with groups. after that background check which took more than 30 days. but the overall experience was good!
