I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Insurance Services Office in Dec 2011
Interview
Applied online, a week later I recieved an email to schedule a phone interview. Phone interview went well, scheduled a 1:1 interview for the following week. Interview consisted of a basic math test, a brief writing portion, one on one interview, then the interviewer brought in a colleague to inerview me as well. The face to face interview took about two hours. The interviewers informed me that they weren't positive that the postion was going to be created for the area I was in and they would let me know when a decesion was made. I called the interviewer two weeks after the interview to check on the status of the position, at which time they informed me that the job was not going to be filled after all. Kind of a waste of time for everyone involved.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at Insurance Services Office in Nov 2015
Interview
I started with two phone interviews as the hiring manager lives over 1000 miles away. After I passed those, I met with a Regional Vice President at a library, as the company has few 'brick and mortar' offices outside of New Jersey. I thought that the interview in a public place felt cheap and odd. It would have been more comfortable to meet in an actual office which can be rented for an hour or two from a place like Regus. Should have learned from the interview that the company is cheap!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Started as a typical format interview. Work experience, how would you handle specific situations, etc.. Finished with a written test and then a laptop-based test to determine computer skills.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Insurance Services Office (San Francisco, CA) in Feb 2009
Interview
There was a phone interview, resume review, in-person interview and a test. The phone interview was standard. The resume review was thorough and included calling all references. The in-person interview was also fairly thorough, and involved two different interviewers. The test features math and analysis questions and was administered after the in-person interviews took place.
