I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Intand (Redmond, WA) in Aug 2009
Interview
I found the business to be entirely smoke and mirrors, and wasn't impressed with their interviewers. They asked me to learn their application and "demo it" during my interview. I had the VP of Sales in the room and a mid level manager criticizing me for my preseentation style. Instead of directly interacting with the tool, I had created a Power Point, case study of how I applied their tool in a small business application (who they sell to). They completely disregarded it since "Power Point" isn't how they sell their solution. Yet, I have a proven track record for selling through online demos with my current business. Interacting with the software is easy, but interacting the software and being able to show how I made it work in a real world application, I felt would set me apart. I thought I did great, but felt patronized throughout, and when they tried to trial close me for less than what I was currently making, I was pretty firm about my expectations. They never took me on a tour of the operations, and as I was leaving I saw all employees younger than myself leaving. I found the company to be all facade and no substance.
