Interview
This was one of the unique selection processes I experienced, right from the first conversation you start getting a feeling sort of sense of collaboration and belonging. The interview process was very stringent and seems little lengthy initially. On the other hand it is so smooth and thorough and you would discover that it justifies the time taken for it for the given position. You are given kind support to converse and discuss comfortably. You don’t have to only answer the questions but also you get encouragement and guidance needed in order to make the process more practical and convenient for both the parties. They do all-round assessment of candidate‘s attitude, aptitude, skills and fitness for requirement. Before offering the position, you are given clear idea about work, vision and culture of the organization; very nice thing about it. This is very important and helpful for aspiring candidates.
Pros:
Practical, effective and transparent selection process. Flexible enough regarding timing/schedule of interview rounds. Very effective and to the point selection process. Warm support and guidance given during process. Most of the process is hassle free and smooth for the ones willing to take up the challenge.
Cons:
Not exactly cons, but I think it’s a part of policy. The detailed back-ground checks done, which may lengthen the process because of third party’s involvement required in that. And yes; if you are sitting remotely and appearing for (technical) telephonic-interview, all the times you need to have very good internet connection with all the required tools (eg. IDE, screen sharing, skype, headphones, webcam etc) on your PC/Laptop; which again I think is not that inconvenient for technical people.

Thanks for the taken to provide this wonderful and insightful review. We highly appreciate your understanding of the need for such a detailed process in today's times where finding the correct match is crucial to the success of an organisation and all the more at the key positions.
As far as the cons are concerned, you would be happy to know that once we have our base in Ahmedabad, the entire process can be completed within a day or max two and that too in the comfort of our office while the advancing candidates shall get the chance to spend a day with the rest of the team. As for the background checks, we may continue the same way as we love to socialise and what better way to know a new member than getting the spoof from their old associates. :)
