I applied for a role and a few days later received an email from Intenseye that was completely blank, no subject line, no message, nothing. I assume this is their innovative new way of saying I didn’t make it to the first round. While I appreciate minimalism, a basic rejection email might be a better candidate experience.

Oh no! So sorry to hear that our applicant management software seems to have had a glitch. I try to respond to every candidate personally and sincerely apologies for the miss here.

Interview
I applied for the CSM role and was invited to a first-round interview with a recruiter. I progressed to the second round where I was asked to prepare and deliver a detailed presentation. After dedicating a significant amount of time and effort to the process, only to receive complete silence afterward.
Despite following up a week later, I only received an out-of-office reply from HR. No update, no feedback, no closure. Weeks have passed since with no communication whatsoever.
At the very least, candidates deserve a response, especially after investing time preparing for multiple stages. Providing feedback or even a simple rejection email is the bare minimum standard of professionalism. The lack of follow-up shows a clear lack of respect for candidates’ time and efforts.
This experience left a poor impression and says a lot about how the company treats people. I expected much better.
