      Web Programmer Interview

      30 May 2017
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Greenwich, CT
      No offer
      Negative experience

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Interactive Brokers (Greenwich, CT) in May 2017

      Interview

Cleared the online Java round - 21 questions 2 phone interviews for nearly 40 minutes. After that was invited to on-site. The recruiter was kind enough to schedule it after my graduation. So I nearly had 3 weeks to prepare. 26th May - Round 1 (1 hr): I walk into their office in CT at 10 am. I met with Pavel Titov. I was escorted to a room and was given a math test - 8 questions - Probability, Permutations, and Combinations. This was for an hour. Round 2 (10 minutes): Then was escorted to his (Pavel) cabin. There is literally no communication from the interviewer end. He prints out two questions - Java. The first question was not really clear and second question was whether the code is thread-safe or not. I wrote my answers. Then I was told that I wasn't serious about the interview.
