I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Inverse-Square (Indianapolis, IN) in Sept 2015
Interview
Met with owner over lunch then met with Director of App development. They asked about my previous experience, why I was looking for something new, and what I could bring to the company. I had to complete a Business Analyst Challenge, a mock project, on my own so they could understand my thought process and assess the quality of my work. The entire process took about two weeks.

Interview
I really enjoyed the interview process with this organization. It consisted of several one on one meetings with the owner and a whole team meeting. I appreciated it, because I truly was able to see what I was potentially about to get into.

First get invited for an initial meet and greet with owner. Then meet with team. If team doesn't all approve (aka one thumbs down = no go) then you do not get an offer. The team interview was definitely aimed at culture and not a fizz-buzz test. They will mostly be feeling out your character. This has probably changed though, because before I left people were being hired without the consent of the whole team.
