      Junior Web-Content Administrator Interview

      5 Jul 2022
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Berlin
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Invincible Brands (Berlin) in Jul 2022

      Interview

That was a nightmare! First I was asked to give 3 time slots for the interview for the next two days, I directly wrote suitable time slots. Day after at 12:13 I got an email asking if I am available the next day (Friday) at a completely different time than provided. I agreed within a few minutes and didn't get any reply on that, and I arranged the day to be able for the 45 min video call. Since HR proposed the hour in the end I thought it is suitable for the company, so I was waiting at the suggested time for a video call. But there was no email. I wrote 3 emails that I am ready for a call and hadn't received any link with an invitation. For the whole day, I haven't received any email or a call regarding the interview. After the weekend, on Monday, I received an email from HR that she is sorry for the late reply, but she couldn't schedule an interview for Friday. And if I can send her a time slot for the same day or the next day. So I send her the time slot for the same day in 2 hours, the only time I could. I got no reply on that, but after three hours I got a message: "Hi xx, could you please send me 3 free time slots for this week? KInd regards" At this point, I was thinking I am writing with a bot. Why do you ask about time slots when you know you are not available? The company should provide the time frames within which the interview can take place, and if it's not possible then kindly apologize or at least give any sign of reading the previous email. No one apologized to me for wasting my time on Friday when I was waiting for the interview. I found the whole process highly disrespectful without any personalized approach. I wrote in the last email that I don't want to work for a company with such a low standard of the recruiting process. After that person from HR called me and for 30 min was telling me how aggressive and unkind my email was and she wanted to know why I wrote that, which was clearly stated in the email. And to tell you that I am no longer considered for the position. That was highly intimidating, disrespectful and aggressive. I lost 45 min waiting for the interview that never took place and 30 min for a highly unpleasant phone call with the person from HR about how rude I was by giving feedback about their hiring process. Avoid it if you can!
