      Customer Service Representative Interview

      20 Feb 2024
      Anonymous employee
      San Francisco, CA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Invisible Technologies (San Francisco, CA) in Feb 2023

      Interview

The easiest interview and hiring process. The objective is to fulfill the client’s need. Recruiters are reasonable to speak to. They’ll more than likely ask about your background and what you know about the company. They’ll go over the job itself and see if you have any questions.

      Interview

The Retorio interview was surprisingly easy and comfortable, even under pressure. The format allowed me to respond naturally without the stress of a live audience, and I appreciated the flexibility to record in a quiet space where I could focus. The questions were clear and gave me room to showcase my communication style and professionalism. Even though I knew the AI would be analyzing my tone and expressions, I felt confident and composed throughout. It was a refreshing change from traditional interviews—structured, yet relaxed enough to let my personality come through.

      Interview

So I usually don’t leave reviews here but this interview/hiring process is definitely one worth giving other prospects a heads-up on. I was contacted by the hiring manager through AngelsList explaining they had an opening that I could be a good fit for. Intrigued, I replied that I was interested in learning more. I was then sent a questionnaire (completed it the same day) that was different in a good way and really got me thinking about the type of things this company finds important when looking for candidate. The next day, I received an email asking what times I was available for a 30 min. chat that week. I replied but received no response. The next day, I received a generic email saying that after further review, they will not be moving forward. I found that interesting because I just received an invite to interview and replied with as much. They replied that there must’ve been a “glitch” with their system and I received the automated message by mistake. Instead of using that time to set-up an interview, they said someone else will be in touch soon. I am no longer interested in the position and will advise others to beware of the tug and pull this company’s hiring process can bring. They could’ve just been upfront and said that they didn’t want to interview me anymore but instead, I’m given the run around.
