Overall, it was the most ridiculous interview experience ever. I applied to this company over Internshala and was reached out by Himanshu (Founder) of the company, the very next day - which seems to be the only good thing I could spot about this process. To give perspective, the internship was posted as a part-time role, which I'm sure we all know means. Speaking about Himanshu and telling him how I'm holding an offer and my joining seems to be delayed with a company, hence I'm looking out for doing an internship part-time for a month or two (2 months was the internship duration btw), he accused me of moonlighting and started asking ridiculous questions. At this point, he's not only willing to listen to my answers but is also interrupting me in between as I am answering. Also, once I sharply answered, avoiding his question to complete my sentence (because anyone would get annoyed by the constant interruption) he lost his calm and hung up saying "I do not entertain moonlighting. A lot of candidates are moonlighting and I'm losing my employees too so I don't entertain anyone doing the same" Well Mister, in case you're losing your employees, it's: 1. Because of your extremely polite attitude towards your candidates. 2. I'm sure if you could speak to a potential candidate in such a way, you'd be doing worse to your employees hence they're leaving. 3. Learn to listen before you speak, it'll only help you understand the situation better - also maybe you could have avoided such a review on your glassdoor. And yes, maybe improve your ratings and reviews on Google as well - should do you some good. Wishing you all the best in future :)
