I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at J.S. Paluch Co. (Santa Fe Springs, CA) in Sept 2013
Interview
Interview through temp agency, your interview is your perfomance the first week on the job. Depending on the need and how long the agency requires you to be a temp then the company will extend an offer.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at J.S. Paluch Co. (Franklin Park, IL) in Jul 2017
Interview
Well, this is in addition to a previous experience I had here earlier this year. Long story sort, the original person who hired me on, just to lead me on for a month (no phone calls, no emails returned) and all the while the HR department said I was hired, and they were waiting for a start date. Then only to get a vague refusal letter, had left the company. New person took over hear about me and asked me to come back. I did (big mistake). That person said I would fit right in and was sorry for my previous experience. We made a date of the second interview for a following Wednesday. That weekend I was told the meeting was Tuesday instead. I could not make it with an important doctors appointment scheduled several months in advance. I replied back and was told no problem everything was fine and they will see me on Wednesday. Came that Wednesday and was told someone else was hired on Tuesday. I wasted a whole afternoon drive. Not sure about this company and it's organization of internal processes. After the first time, I was reluctant to go back, but I was told I would be treated very different from the first time. Guess not. But I do know I will never return there again and want to share my story so others do not have to go thru something like this. Most bizarre time I ever had with a company....
I applied through other source. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at J.S. Paluch Co. (Danbury, CT) in Jan 2017
Interview
The interview process was very well organized, expeditious, and done in a very professional but friendly manner. The interviewer was very specific about the requirements of the job and very clear about what was expected. The interview was more of a free flowing dialogue than a formal question and answer format. I felt very comfortable with the interviewer and had time to ask questions and make enough comments so that I understood the expectations right away. The interview was handle very well overall.
