I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at JCPenney (Plano, TX) in Mar 2019
Interview
The process was pretty fast paced. They got back to me in a timely manner which I appreciated compared to the other internships I was applying for. I applied to the company and heard back about a week to two weeks later that they wanted to do a phone interview. The first round included your basic questions like why you wanted to work for the company, etc. After that, I was told I was going on to the second round and was scheduled for two, 30 minute phone interviews the next week. After that, I received an email the next day that I advanced to final interviews at the home office. The final interview includes a panel interview, an assessment, and a group case study. I suggest just relaxing and being genuine and confident! Everyone is very welcoming and friendly, and you can tell the culture and environment is great. I received a phone call the next day stating I got the position!
