I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at JCPenney (Plano, TX) in Aug 2019
Interview
The interview process was three phases. First, meeting with the recruiter to gauge level of interest and if you are the right fit. Second, meeting with direct supervisor to gauge compatibility and fit. Third, panel of 6 to gauge overall people leadership, executive presence and experience both for the position and in general.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at JCPenney in Jun 2023
Interview
I initially had a recruiter call. Unlike many recruiters from other companies that I worked with earlier, Leena Gajjala seems to have a deep understanding of the requirement and the good knowledge of the team which is hiring. She was able to provide a lot of detail in our first call. The initial call was followed up by Shannon Reicherts, who quickly setup following technical rounds in next few day. The first technical and managerial round was with hiring manager Andi Ma, who was a delight to talk to. He was calm yet through in interviewing. He certainly gave a good impression and by the end of the interview I felt like Andi is a manager who I could look up to and learn from while delivering value to business. The technical and Product leaders(Junaid Fakhruddin, Ashlee Ritter and Kunal Shah) who took my interview were polite, welcoming and through in how they were analyzing my potential at JCP. I was not only able to showcase my knowledge and experience but was also able to get a good insight into the culture in JCP which made me get more excited about the role. After the interviews were done, Leena kept me in loop on what is happening with the remaining process, while I was waiting for the results of the interview, I and Leena the recruiter were in touch. I would rate my Interview experience at 4/5, with only one recommendation to have had the results sooner.

Question 1
Among many, one question was on how I would hand conflict.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at JCPenney (Reno, NV) in Jul 2022
Interview
The entire was pretty smooth and transparent. The interview started with pre-screening. The next steps included multiple virtual interviews and one in person ( since I was in town). Each person was great to talk to and openly answered all the questions I had for them. Overall a great experience!
