The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at JPMorganChase (New York, NY) in Aug 2011
Interview
5 rounds of in-person interviews. One round of phone interviews. Three tests: build a projection model (timed), write a research note (timed), build a DCF model (take-home). Interviews were inquisitive - wanted to understand how you think about a particular sector, the market in general, favorite stock, personality, etc. People were respectful and congenial.

Describe how the insurance industry works, and what are their key considerations when pricing an insurance policy?
First just a phone call with the analyst. If 'passed' that phone call then get a modeling test. This includes linking the three financial statements and writing up an earnings recap

Question 1
Do you know anything about the companies under my coverage
It was fine depending on the analyst that interviews you - some analysts are just arrogant and kept interrupting. Focused on resume and motivation. Few stock pitch. Some technical questions but not much.
I applied through university. I interviewed at JPMorganChase (New York Mills, NY) in Mar 2022
Interview
A few successive interviews, including an assessment of knowledge of financial modeling and some case studies. Need to make sure you are well prepared for macro questions as well. Study your statistics.
