To start out, I am a very persistent person. The job was posted on 06/07/2012. I applied the 8th, which was on a saturday. I decided to take it among myself to come in on Monday to introduce myself to the manager. I was well dress(Just in Case). I told her that i had applied for the available position. She was trying to find me on the computer but it was acting up. I asked her about her experience here, and we talked for a little while. I went home at least knowing that i made a mark. Within an hour i received an email from them saying: Please call the recruiting department for an interview. I came to this website to look at the typical questions they asked(Really Helped!). The phone interview was a breeze, and at the end when the recruiting lady ask me if i had any questions for her, I knew that it was best to show interest by asking a question. I asked her: "During your entire time at the company, what is your experience and insight?" The lady told me she would send the report to the branch manager. WooHoo!!
5 minutes After that i called the manager at the bank to tell her that i just had the interview and they would be sending her the report. She thanked me for telling her, and told me she should receive an email soon. Next morning at 10 am i received another call and it was another interview. Same questions with some added new questions. It was the same lady I believe. After 3 hours, I became a little impatient and took it to myself of calling the manager again(But this time I used the excuse that she couldn't find me on the system). She told me she did find me and that she had me on her "To Do" List. I told her ok, well i am available today, tomorrow. She said: "Oh, ok, come today by 3pm. I said yes.
I made sure i arrived 15 minutes ahead. I sat down and a customer came and sat next to me. I knew this was an opportunity to show my people skills. I started to talking to the customer. We joked around, talked about our background. After that he had to go and then the manager came up to me. We went to this little room. The Interview was easy going. She was very nice and easy to talk to. I made sure to not be to comfortable but instead, nice, respectful, and confident, and enthusiastic. Thanks to GlassDoor I was able to answer some questions before she even asked them. She explain me the pay was 10 to 11 and responsibility.
The Next Morning. I was at work at 10 am and I knew they would be calling probably around that time. I missed the call and then i called but the line was busy. They called me 10 minutes later. I told my boss it was this company calling me for a job and she let me go to the back office to talk to them. They offered me the position $11.00. I was definitely happy. Going from 8 to 11. I don't have to worry about the drug test, and all the other things cause i know i was honest on all of them.
So yea that is my story.
