      Interview

HR call was fine, asked a lot of behavioral questions. Second interview was weird. Never asked a single question related to my skills and field. Literally spend double the time on my first role that wasnt even fulltime and then spend about 30 seconds on my most current position. How do you determine a candidate by their experience light years ago? Clearly shows they have no sense of direction in their process, and have no idea how to hire/work with an actual designer. The questions themselves offer zero insight to my skills, had more questions about my managers honestly. How would rating every single one of my managers 1-10 show you who i am as a designer. Repeated same batch of questions every role with no regard to my answers. Interviewers seemed bored tired and uninterested. Was on the fence prior anyway, and luckily the interview process helped me decide that I definitely wouldn’t have joined even if I reached offer stage. Was surpised to see really good reviews on glassdoor, then quickly realized the “amazing” reviews were all current employees made on same day. Interesting. Read former employees for real insight.
