I was genuinely excited about the opportunity and appreciated the initial stages of the interview process, which were professional and well-organised. I was asked to prepare a portfolio and invested a significant amount of time and effort tailoring it to the role, as well as preparing thoroughly for the interview.
Unfortunately, after the interview, I heard nothing back. I followed up multiple times over the course of several weeks but never received a response. This was incredibly disappointing and disheartening, especially after being asked to go above and beyond in the preparation.
I completely understand that recruitment processes can take time, but basic communication and closure should be a minimum standard—particularly for a role at this level and within a learning-focused organisation. This experience has left a very negative impression of the company’s candidate care and respect for people’s time.
