      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Jellyvision Lab (Chicago, IL) in Aug 2024

      Interview

The interviewers at Jellyvision were extremely friendly and professional. Their interview process is well organized, moderately challenging and, to be honest, pretty fun! I genuinely enjoyed meeting and talking with the team.

      Interview

Phone interview with recruiter and manager, then a team interview review and pairing exercise for 3.5 hours. The technical part has been setup in such a way that you will fail. Do yourself a favor don't waste time with this insignificant excuse of a company

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Jellyvision Lab (Chicago, IL) in Oct 2020

      Interview

They had 3 steps to their process. The first interview was a call with the recruiter to talk about my experience. My second interview was with the software engineering manager, and this one was more technical. We talked about the type of work I've done. I don't recall if I was asked specific technical questions, but I wasn't asked to code anything in this round. The third and final round lasted 3 hours. The first hour was an interview with the software engineering manager and one of the product managers and this was more behavioral. The second hour you're given JS code to review and discuss with one of the developers. The third hour you complete a coding challenge in Python, JS, or another language that I can't recall. Overall the experience was nice despite it being 3 hours. Everyone was friendly an understanding if you didn't know something.
