      Digital Strategist Interview

      1 Sept 2021
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Toronto, ON
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Jumpfactor (Toronto, ON) in Jun 2020

      Interview

FAKE FIVE-STAR REVIEWS It's simple. When you see a company that is posting jobs every single week, that means only one thing: REVOLVING DOOR. The set up of the interview was fairly quick and straight forward. I passed the intelligence / psychometric test that they tie to the application form. When the interview happened the guy asking the questions had already an attitude towards me and was meh even though I was giving all the right questions. It's sad to see that there are still hiring managers who judge candidates on how much they like them. 80% of their employees are South Asian which is the ethnic origin of the Director.

As one of Canada's Growth Listed companies for 5 years in a row, we get thousands of candidates applying and have a thorough screening process. We are growing rapidly and we screen heavily for a very strong culture fit. This is one of the reasons our average team member retention is over double the industry standard and we have a very high employee satisfaction score. We take the time to make sure we hire the right people as best as we can and then we keep them happy with excellent work, high quality culture and very competitive packages. We are sorry you didn't have a positive experience. Best of luck inf your career!

      Interview

Hiring process was the worst most unprofessional experience in my professional career. Forced you to interview at a packed Starbucks where interviewer could not hear with no seating like a retail position. One interviewer left to get a coffee while the other began the interview? The CEO again left mid interview to take a call for about 10 minutes. Asked irrelevant questions they both looked like they were unorganized and not on the same page. Waste of time going to their terrible location and I urge anyone looking at this company to steer away!
