I first interviewed with the HR recruiter, followed by a panel interview with two team members I’d be working closely with. Both conversations went really well. I felt well prepared for every question, and the conversations flowed naturally. We seemed to have a strong rapport, which left me feeling optimistic about moving forward.
Unfortunately, I never heard back from the recruiter. While I understand that companies may decide to move in a different direction, I would have appreciated the courtesy of a response. Ghosting candidates after multiple rounds of interviews is disappointing and, in my opinion, unprofessional. Candidates invest significant time preparing for interviews, and they deserve clear communication, even if the answer is no.
