I spoke with HR on the phone who then sent me an email with a description of the position and I few pre interview questions to complete including references. Went to the interview and it went well overall. My only problem is they then called my references and instead of speaking to the person I listed as my reference who is the owner of the company they spoke to an office manager who hated me who bad mouthed me instead of giving me the props I deserve for my work ethic and willingness to learn.
