Interview
When I first spoke to the HR person on the phone I was under the impression that this would be a marketing sales position, however it turned out to be more of a door to door sales company. I had three interviews in total, one on the phone, one basic introductory interview, and one full day shadowing interview where I traveled around New Jersey with one of their "top salesmen." He had been working at the company for three weeks... He was a nice guy and the job seemed manageable, however I was not interested in spending my summer driving through small towns of New Jersey and asking business owners to change their electricity plans. Although I was offered the position, I declined and opted for a more standard office internship instead.

Question 1
Standard interview questions - why would you be good for this job, what sets you apart from other candidates, etc.

Interview
I went in for an interview with the president, he was a very nice guy and the interview was brief and not extremely formal. The questions were pretty standard such as "name three characteristics that seperate you from other candidates" and "what interested you in our company." I was called back for a second interview on the same day and I respectfully declined because the commute was too far given the fact that this was somewhat of a door to door sales job.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at KJ Innovations (Cherry Hill, NJ) in Jan 2013
Interview
The interview process has three steps. The first interview is a preliminary 1-1 interview with the hiring manager and he asked pretty basic interview questions i.e. "What caught your eye about the company? What do you do for fun? What is one thing that you would change about yourself?" etc.. When/if you are called for a second interview you come in for a full work day and shadow one of the account representatives, which is nice because both you and KJ Innovations can see if it is the right fit for yourself and for them. Finally, if you are called for the last interview you go to the office for a drug and background check and are given a small training session and tour of the office.
