I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at KNIME (Berlin) in Apr 2025
Interview
I was initially referred by a former colleague. The hiring manager contacted me, and we had a casual chat to get to know each other and talk about the company and the position. Afterwards, I did a coding challenge, which was interesting and relevant to the position. There was also a call with 4-5 developers, where I presented the challenge, and answered various questions. In the end, I met one of the founders for a short call. Even though it was a bit of a lengthy process, everyone was transparent and friendly, and the product seemed quite challenging and attractive.

Short and to the point. Hiring manager was stone cold zero personality. Hard to believe someone like that is in sales. Did not tell me about the position or the company. Was more of a mind reading game. Yes we can all read the job description but it was very clear that they were being cut throat. Honestly after I met the hiring manager I did not want the job anymore.
Can you give us more insight here as to when the interview took place? We don't have an Account Manager position open at the moment and would like to look into this in more detail.
Thanks in advance.
