I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at KOTA Energy Group (Provo, UT) in Mar 2022
Interview
The whole process took 2+ weeks. I had a great interview, the interviewer even said that I was one of his top applicants and was impressed but he had a few more interviews and would get back to me. I followed up a week later and he said he still had 1 or 2 interviews to finish up. I followed up another week later and he ghosted me.

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at KOTA Energy Group (Camarillo, CA) in Nov 2021
Interview
Applied online, was contacted by a recruiter within a day via email. They set up a video interview within a few days. Interview lasted maybe 15 minutes. They were strait to the point and asked how much I wanted right away. After the interview I was offered the job fairly quickly. They only offered me .42 cents more than I was currently being paid. We ended up not being able to work things out due to their medical benefits. They were going to cost me $600 a month more than I’m currently paying myself and my wife and 3 kids. I turned their offer down and the recruiter said she understood. A day later I was contacted again, and asked what my counter offer would be? I replied they’d need to pay me at least $4 an hour more than they were offering just to cover the insurance. They never responded after that. However, Kota is a great company run by some really good people that I’ve worked with at another company. I really hope to work with them eventually.
