Initial application was expedited to Technical Interview phase due to my prior experience teaching. Technical Interview required a few hours of prep (maybe more if you need to brush up on your math). The Interview seemed to go well enough, though I was not offered the job. I asked for reasons why, with no response. Staff were kind, attentive, and helpful before the Technical Interview itself. A note for the interview -- a lot of the questions feel very "gotcha," and it is clear they are looking for one specific answer. Make sure you stick to a script, this isn't the time/place for having more interesting dialogue on teaching styles and strategies (which is the mistake I made). I often felt that my interviewer was a bit patronizing, and would push me to see where I might slip up. A couple of times she would continue to push me on questions even after I had answered them sufficiently. Felt a bit like a trap. Answer the question they ask you and say no more! I think that is where I went wrong, and was penalized for it. Overall a pretty negative experience.
