Interviewers made a really big point of how understaffed they were and how much they needed new people. They Highlighted that the company does not have a real training program, and the people who would facilitate any training would be the same people conducting the interview. They also said that because they were a growing company there was not a lot of procedure or policy in place for many of the situations you would find yourself in day to day situations on the job.
It did not build a lot of confidence in the companies ability to build a functioning or enjoyable work environment. The picture painted from the interview process was that the work would be overwhelming and there would be little structure to support staff under these conditions.
