      Software Engineer Backend focus Interview

      30 Mar 2024
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Kin Insurance in Mar 2024

      Interview

The process was pretty straight forward. An initial phone screen with a recruiter. Then a take home with four user stories (depending on the level your are applying for you may only need to complete 2 which was in this case). This was then followed up by a pairing with two engineers and then a behavioral interview with two managers. The pairing session felt too short and I kept getting interrupted. It felt impossible.
