Kin Insurance Sales Agent interview questions

Recruiter found me & asked if I was interested in the position to please apply & schedule an interview time. So I did both. Interview went well, on my end. Interviewer said the "hiring team" would review her call notes & make a decision within 24 hrs. She said she'd call me by end of business the next day. She never called. Later in the afternoon I received a generic automated rejection email from a no reply generic outbox. Not sure why you'd go out of your way to ask someone to apply & interview to then almost immediately reject them?
