I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at King County Courts in May 2019
Interview
The process itself was fairly quick. I applied in April 2019, invited to interview May 9, 2019, and interviewed at the end of May. The interview itself was with a panel of 3 managers/directors and was fairly straightforward. It was followed up with a quick computer skills test. I was notified that I was selected by the panel at the beginning of June 2019 and got my reference checks done. Preliminary background check was started, then nothing. 2 months later and I had no idea what was going on, and only just found out that management will not be moving forward with me with no explanation after being told that I was selected. It is unfortunate because I was very excited!

Interview
King County District Courts and the King County Courts rely on the typical STAR interview questions, which are normally asked by a panel of 3-5 people. The questions actually have very little or nothing to do with the actual job. It's more of a personality profile that they're going for, which doesn't seem to be particularly effective at preparing prospective employees for the work to be done.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at King County Courts (Issaquah, WA) in Mar 2013
Interview
It was an multiple person board type interview. I was asked many scenario questions, and also about my work experience. They seemed to be interested in how I could handle customer situations and if I had experience working with money.
